Crayons to Classrooms is a free store for teachers from under-funded preK-12 schools that serve students living in poverty. In order to be eligible to use our services, teachers must be from schools that are pre-qualified to participate in the program, the criterion being that 60 percent of the school’s students participate in the National School Lunch Program. Rural county schools are determined based on median income. The following schools are currently eligible.
"I teach 2nd grade in an inner city school in Dayton, Ohio. The families do not have the money to provide much in the way of supplies for their kids. Every year I spend hundreds of dollars on supplies for the kids and for me to use in my teaching. EVERYTHING from Crayons to Classrooms helps!"
