Summer Supply Drives Stock Crayons to Classrooms with Record Number of Donations

Crayons to Classrooms’ summer supply drives brought in a record number of donations to stock the Teacher Resource Center. Every donation made to Crayons to Classrooms helps provide children the supplies they need to succeed. The Dayton community provided a record number of donations to Crayons to Classrooms this summer for teachers of students in need!
Stuff the Bus
Crayons to Classrooms collected school supplies and online donations along with over 37 local organizations for Stuff the Bus. From July 1st to August 31st, Stuff the Bus raised more than $33,000 in supplies and $62,218 in funds. The event brought in supplies and funds to be able to provide needed supplies to local teachers of students in need this back-to-school season.

Great Backpack Give Back
On August 24th, Crayons to Classrooms had the opportunity to partner with WHIO-TV and WHIO Radio for the first WHIO Great Backpack Give Back. Crayons to Classrooms and WHIO collected school supplies all day to stock our store for teachers at underfunded Miami Valley schools. We are humbled by the generosity of the Dayton community.
