The Dor-Wood Optimist Club awarded C2C a grant for the 2023-24 school year in support of Kettering teachers of students in need.
On July 20th, Crayons to Classrooms hosted forty-nine May 2023 Wright State University graduates for a First-Year Teacher Shopping Event.
Crayons to Classrooms received a contribution from Honda to support their STEM initiative and environmental program, Reduce and Reuse for Education.
In June, Crayons to Classrooms hosted two Make & Take Days for local teachers to volunteer and take home Classroom Solutions (CS) products.
On May 10th, Crayons to Classrooms hosted 139 teachers for a teacher appreciation event, Thanks-A-Million.
The Community Foundation for Kettering provides funds to enable Kettering teachers at ineligible schools to shop at Crayons to Classrooms.
"[C2C has] helped me multiple times due to my school not having any material to support my students. It helped to relieve stress and anxiety about preparing for class. I have items that I would have never been able to afford with my own salary."
