Thanksgiving Surprise from AES Foundation
Heading into the Thanksgiving holiday, Crayons to Classrooms is extra thankful for AES Foundation, the charitable arm of AES Restaurant Group, which operates 38 Arby’s restaurants across the Miami Valley.
Dayton Director of Operations, Brandi Fry-MacNeil, and Area Supervisor, Kevin Bacher, presented C2C Executive Director, Steve Rubenstein and Director of Development, Amy Kopp, with a check for a whopping $16,238.55. The funds were raised throughout the last 6 months via the in-store donation program at area Arby’s stores. Customers were welcome to either round up or donate $1 to benefit four area charities, and Crayons to Classrooms is honored to have been chosen for the third year in a row.
Mr. Bacher shared that his wife is a 1st grade teacher for Dayton Public Schools and a big fan of Crayons to Classrooms’ services. Mrs. Bacher has visited the Teacher Resource Center to “shop” for her classroom and support her students in need. Crayons to Classrooms values the support of the AES Foundation and the opportunity to be a part of a community that works together for the greater good.
