Driving Our Mission Forward: A New Box Truck for Crayons to Classrooms

Crayons to Classrooms (C2C) is on the move—literally! Thanks to the generous support of the The Dayton Foundation, Kettering Family Philanthropies, AES Ohio Foundation, and CareSource, we are thrilled to announce funding for a brand-new box truck that will take our mission to the next level.

This truck will allow us to pick up larger bulk donations of school supplies and classroom essentials, ensuring nothing goes to waste when generous partners want to give. Just as importantly, it equips us to distribute resources directly to schools and off-site locations, getting supplies into the hands of teachers and students faster than ever before.

But this truck is more than just a vehicle—it’s a powerful tool that helps us extend our reach across the Miami Valley. Every trip it makes represents more classrooms supported, more students prepared, and more teachers who don’t have to shoulder the burden of buying supplies out of pocket.

Our mission has always been to distribute school supplies to teachers of students in need. With this new truck, we can multiply our impact, ensuring every donation travels further and every resource reaches those who need it most.
