The need for school supplies is growing faster than we can keep up. More teachers than ever are turning to Crayons to Classrooms for support, and this school year brought the largest increase in student need in our history. Over 200 new teachers joined our program this school year.
That is over 200 new classrooms that might welcome a new student in the middle of the school year who shows up empty handed or a that exhausts its shared supplies long before spring because students simply don’t have their own.
When classrooms go without supplies, it’s students who feel the impact most – students who are ready to learn but lack the basic tools they need to succeed.
