Crayons to Classrooms is a valuable educational partner that gives students the resources they need to succeed while fostering a sense of community among teachers. At our free store, teachers can shop for all of the supplies they need, without having to spend their hard-earned money.

In order for a school to be eligible for our program, 60 percent of the school’s students must be participants in the National School Lunch Program. Is your school eligible?

C2C schools are determined by the free and reduced lunch percentage reported by the Ohio Department of Education. Schools that meet 60% or above free and reduced lunch will be reviewed by our School Advisory Committee. New schools will be added for the following school year, once determined eligible. Schools that are listed as rural by the Ohio Department of Education are added based on median income. Our School Advisory Committee reviews potential rural schools. New schools will be added for the following school year once determined eligible.
No. You must be added to the C2C staff list for your school before you will have access to our teacher portal and be able to schedule a shop.
When you visit the teacher portal, click “Forgot your password?” to reset.
Yes! If you would like to volunteer to shop, you can bring another friend or family member to volunteer with you to help you earn your shop. A shop is earned from a total of 5 volunteer hours.
Your school is listed as inactive because we are still waiting on your school’s paperwork for the current school year. We require paperwork to be completed by each eligible school every school year.

New childcare centers are determined through an application process. If you do not see your center, please apply. Childcare centers will be reviewed by our School Advisory Committee. New childcare centers will be added for the following school year once determined eligible.
No. Only certified teachers at eligible schools are invited to shop. This includes principals, assistant principals, general education teachers, intervention specialists, and specials teachers such as physical education, music and art teachers.
We shop during the months of August-November and January-May.
We are open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3 pm – 6 pm and one Saturday a month from 8:30 am – 11:30 am.
No. Children are not allowed to shop with you. If you need to reschedule due to childcare, you can login to our teacher portal to cancel or modify your shop.
Once your teacher representative/principal adds you to the C2C staff list, you will receive login information for our teacher portal. You must be added to this list for C2C to confirm you are a new teacher at an eligible school.
You can earn an additional shopping trip at C2C by volunteering in our shop or encouraging your friends to volunteer with us. You can earn a shopping visit for as little as 5 hours of volunteer time.
